Today is Giving Tuesday. The premise is simple: Give Back.

MBFM does our best to support charities and organizations when we can, and we truly believe in giving back to our community. We’ve only been open for a year, but this is our second holiday season, and our second time encouraging people to support the Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky.

Take a look at the list of items that are needed, or swing by the dealership to pick up a tag. All items can be dropped off at MBFM by December 19th.

Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky is a community leader providing children and families with opportunity and hope for better lives by offering a residential treatment program for boys between the ages of 7 and 17. We operate two campuses – one in Burlington and one in Covington’s Devou Park. Last year, the Home impacted over 400 children and families in more than 30 counties across the Commonwealth.

We also offer a community-based program called Champions, which is designed as a preventative, therapeutic treatment service for adolescents who have been identified as being at risk of becoming ”status offenders” due to issues such as truancy, substance abuse, and being out of control of school/parents. We partner with five local school districts for the program.

In addition to providing direct care to abused, neglected, and at-risk children, we also advocate on their behalf – we give voices to the voiceless. We work in close partnership with the Children’s Alliance to ensure all Kentucky children and families have access to the human services they need.
